BSL Lighting displays products on Korea’s biggest exhibition stage
Imagine the excitement of coming up with a great idea, but then having it materialize into something real that you can show the world. During the 15th International LED & OLED Exposition in 2017, BSL Lighting (the LED lighting branch of Big Shine Worldwide) showcased its LED products on Korea’s biggest exhibition stage at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibits Center) for the second consecutive year.
According to the Korean Association for Photonics Industry Development (KAPID), the worldwide and Korean LED markets are projected to grow about 19% by 2020. Hosted by EXPOnU Co., Ltd, the International LED & OLED Expo is the perfect outlet for the promotion of progress, innovation, and competition among technology companies, domestic and international. This event receives direct support from Korean government agencies, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
This expo is where the world looks for the latest in LED/OLED market trends and product development. It welcomes 270 companies to showcase their LED products and services to suppliers, traders, retailers, key decision makers, manufacturers, distributors, importers, and exporters – totaling an attendance of nearly 11,000 people.
Forward-facing energy-efficient technology
BSL Lighting presented several of their esteemed state-of-the-art interior LED fixtures ranging from downlights to LED panels, placing a huge emphasis on quality coming from the company’s 30-year background in semiconductor technology. Korean-Electronics.com (a blog on Korean brands and electronics) featured BSL Lighting on its website stating that, “it [BSL Lighting] is committed to improving the development of LED lights and the foundation of low carbon green energy.” The site also listed many of the BSL Lighting’s high-performance and energy-efficient fixtures, including the TK1 high bay.
Showcased products can also be found on buykorea.org, an e-marketplace website, operated by KOTRA.
The world’s first B2B LED tradeshow
Held at KINTEX, the largest single-floor space in Asia, the International LED & OLED Expo is Korea’s largest professional LED trade exhibition, the world’s first B2B LED tradeshow. Organized by EXPOnU Co., Ltd, the Expo has become a hub of information on the latest LED trends and the newest technologies. Not only does this event contribute to the domestic development of the LED and OLED industry in Korea, but it also promotes overseas business growth and the international exportation of goods. Because tech experts use the Expo as an opportunity to discover prospects in the lighting market, it is a great occasion for forward-thinking companies to unveil their innovations for global exposure.
